Akane Yamazaki has gained the spotlight in the world of boxing, both nationaly and internationaly with only 7 fights on her record, 6 of them victories. During her 7th fight, Akane won by KO using her signature punch: The corkscrew, defeating a mexican opponent on hte 6th round, Akane find out that Itzel Sánchez was attending that fight and when Akane was named the winner, Itzel stood up and applaud Akane for her victory over her compatriot. Both girls give a stare at each other and some reporters sorround Itzel asking her: "What is the ultimate champion attending this fight if it's not a championship fight?"

The reporters were waiting for Itzel's answer and it even got Akane's attention so she went closer to Itzel.

The reporters and Akane were speechless after hearing Itzel challenge, normally her opponents are the ones who challenge Itzel, not the other way around.
The reports then point their cameras at Akane waiting for her response..."I accept, and i will win Itzel-san!"

The day of the ballte arrived Akane and Itzel were ready for this 10 round battle and the crowd goes wild.
The fight was pretty even, Itzel admitted that Akane is probably her best oponents because she has managed to land a lot of punches on Itzel... "Her southpaw style and that corkscrew are VERY tough, i am surprised i haven't gone down, guess it's time to go the next level.
At the start of round 8 Itzel took the advantage over Akane and managed to land a vicious right hook that sent Akane to the canvas. The referee saw Akane's eys after that down and she decides to end the match.
Itzel won!!!!!!! "Man.... this was a close fight".... *goes to Akane and carries her on her arm*
Akane: I... lost...guess i still need more experience if i want to beat you Itzel-san
Itzel: don't this loss discourage you, and i am going to say this a loud, you are the best challenger i have ever faced in my entire boxing career Akane.
The crowd applaud this comment by Itzel. Akane and Itzel fist bumped as Akane was taking to the infirmary.
Itzel Got surrounded by the reporters and she said: I meant guys, Akane Yamazaki is best boxer i have faced in my entire career, if i wouldn't mind if she rechallenges me and that time she beats, she is that good.
Itzel ended the interview as she went back to her locker room
